Briceño to Barrow: “Call names”

By BBN Staff: People’s United Party Leader John Briceño is calling on Prime Minister Dean Barrow to disclose which United Democratic Party ministers were implicated in the Lev Dermen fraud scandal in the United States.

Briceño held a press conference at his office on the Philip Goldson Highway, saying that he does not believe the ministers themselves have the integrity to step down of their own accord, so Barrow needs to fire them.

He said that the PUP will not tolerate the deflection that the PM used during the Elvin Penner scandal, referencing legal guilt versus factual guilt. Briceño says that the PUP will be working with stakeholders to chart a way forward to force the Prime Minister to take action if he is reluctant to do so.

He promised that the issue would be ventilated more thoroughly following the next meeting of the House of Representatives, shlcheduled for this Friday.
