Posted: Wednesday, January 15, 2020. 7:12 am CST.

The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that moist conditions are expected to continue as a moderate east-northeasterly airflow continues to dominate our weather.

The 24-hour forecast calls for skies to be sunny with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy spells at times tonight. A few showers or isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over central and southern areas this morning and tonight, with showers becoming generally isolated this afternoon.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 64 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for rough seas.

There will be low tide at 7:51 a.m. and high tide at 1:56 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:38 p.m. and the moon will rise at 10:47 p.m.
