Allister Reyes charged with attempted murder

By BBN Staff: Police have arrested and charged Allister Reyes, 19, in connection with the shooting of Curtis James Campbell, 40.

Just before 9 o’clock on Tuesday night, Campbell was riding his bicycle on South Creek street when a man on a motorcycle pulled up behind him.

The cyclist reportedly parked his transportation and then opened fire at Campbell. He was shot in his back and transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released yesterday.

Police say that this shooting is connected to an incident that occurred last year. However, they did not specify which.

Reyes has since been charged with a string of charges including attempted murder.
