Men’s Journal names Belize one of 15 winter getaways

In its article, “15 Warm-Weather Winter Vacations to Escape the Cold” Men’s Journal puts Belize up there with known tourism powerhouses such as Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Chile, and even Japan, solidifying Belize’s place as a global contender with a unique tourism experience.

The article also highlighted the award-winning Turtle Inn in Placencia, which was recently featured in the Condé Nast Traveller’s Gold List Hotels 2020.

The year 2019 was record-breaking for tourism in Belize, with a total of With 503,177 overnight visitors to Belize according to statistics released by the Ministry of Tourism. With repeated travel writing pieces encouraging people from various countries to come and see Belize, 2020 presents an opportunity for the tourism sector to outdo itself yet again.
