Moist conditions expected today

The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that a moderate northeasterly airflow will prevail over the country, supporting relatively moist conditions today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy skies at times with some showers or periods of rain scattered over most areas today, along with possible isolated thunderstorms tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 84 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for occasionally rough seas.

There will be low tide at 8:36 a.m. and high tide at 2:44 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:38 p.m. and the moon will rise at 11:45 p.m.
