Security guard’s life spared during Waste Control robbery

By BBN Staff: An on-duty security guard was spared his life after he was confronted by an armed robber.

Dane Grinage, 30, told police that he was on duty last night at Belize Waste Control when two men approached the compound.

One of the men, armed with a shotgun, demanded he hand over all his possessions.

Fearing for his life, he surrendered a cell phone.

Police are at this time seeking two suspects.
