More rains forecasted today

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that a relative moist easterly airflow will prevail over the country, supporting relatively moist conditions today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy skies at times with some showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 84 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 76 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 10-20 knots.

The sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and occasionally rough seas.
