Bella Vista man lucky to be alive after failed attempt on his life inside home

By BBN Staff: Authorities have detained one suspect and are seeking another in a shooting incident that occurred on Friday night in Bella Vista village.

Edinelson Clavel, 24, told police that around 10:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17 he was at home when a man pushed open his room door, fired three shots at him and then escaped.

Clavel took cover and managed to escape the ordeal unhurt.

Police have since confiscated a .9mm pistol. 

An investigation is on-going.
