“Moist weather today, cold front tomorrow,” says Met Service

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that relatively moist conditions will continue today and tonight, with a cold front approaching later tomorrow.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. Showers will be isolated this
morning, with a few showers mostly over central and southern areas this afternoon and tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 84 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 75 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy to moderate.

A high tide began at 6:09 a.m. and there will be a low tide at 11:09 a.m.

The sun will set at 5:40 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 2:37 a.m.
