By BBN Staff: The search for missing American tourist, Alison MacKenzie is still on going.
MacKenzie’s family is seeking the public’s assistance in locating their loved one who disappeared while on a tour along with her boyfriend and a group of tourists at Rendezvous Caye.
According to Alison’s mom, Cherie MacKenzie, the Belize Police, the US Embassy in Belize and the tour company are all working together in searching for Alison.
Cherie also shared on her personal social media page that the stories are not adding up.
“We have received three different stories about what happened that morning. None of them consistent with the others. We are getting nowhere finding out where she is. It has been 48 hours now, and not only missing but feared no longer alive,” Cherie stated.
The family is now seeking the tourists that were on the catamaran tour boat with her and are praying that someone who knows something about what happened to her daughter will contact her.
Cherie says that the family is devastated and she wants her daughter back.
Earlier today, the tour company, Ragamuffin tours issued a statement saying that they are working along with authorities in searching for Alison.
