Mexican media reports that two Belizeans died in accident

By BBN Staff: Local media in Mexico is reporting that two Belizean nationals died in a road traffic accident last night in Chetumal.

The accident reportedly occurred around 10 p.m. near the La Unión-Ucum road, near the town of Cocoyol in Chetumal.

The occupants of the vehicle had been crushed between the iron of the vehicle in which they were traveling in.

Those news reports that the occupants may have been under the influence of alcohol when the accident happened.

Their vehicle had crashed into a cane truck and after the strong impact, the car ended up totally destroyed.

Authorities are investigating.
