Police: PG murder linked to previous attempted murder case

By BBN Staff: Sometime around 7 o’clock last night there was a murder in Punta Gorda, Toledo.

The victim has since been identified as Denroy Nicholas, 23.

He had just exited his mother’s home and was entering his room in the same yard when he was shot once.

Police have since detained several persons pending investigation.

When asked for a motive, police indicated that Nicholas was to appear in court to answer to a charge of attempted murder.

That case, according to police, may have been the reason he was killed.
