By BBN Staff: Last night, the Government of Belize through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba marked 25 years of diplomatic cooperation between the two countries with the opening of a graphic art exhibit at the Museum of Belize.

The exhibit, entitled “Cuba-Belize@25”  is comprised of pieces that the Embassy had done in collaboration with The Image Factory, as well as pieces from graphic artist Falco, which were done in commemoration of the 61st anniversary of the Cuban revolution.

Alexis Salazar, director of the Museum of Belize explained that the exhibit forms a part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that the Cuban Embassy signed with the National Institute of Culture and History. The MOU included the sharing of cultural and historical exhibits, as well as bilateral training opportunities.
