The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a cool northerly airflow will prevail today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for variably cloudy with possible light rain over the south this morning. Otherwise, little or no rainfall is expected along with windy and cool conditions behind the cold front.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 80 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 62 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 58 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty blowing North-Northeast at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas.
There will be low tide at 9:40 a.m. and high tide at 3:46 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:48 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 12:03 p.m.
