Man dies 10 days after being shot

By BBN Staff: After 10 days of fighting for his life against gunahot injuries, Stann Creek resident Anthony Parks, 37, has died.

Parks was shot four times on January 22, after someone outside of his yard called out to him and he went to see who it was.

Police have since arrested and charged Shane Bennett for shooting Parks, but it is suspected that his charge will be upgraded following Parks’s death.
