By BBN Staff: Liberty Children’s Home expressed their gratitude to the Bowen & Bowen Group (B&B) of companies for its pledge to support the work of the Home for the year 2020.

The B&B Group, through its subsidiaries Belize Imports & Goods Ltd. (BIG) and B&B Beverages, has pledged to provide the home with monthly assistance in the form of food items, cleaning/hygiene supplies, and drinking water.

With the first delivery of goods for the year, Marcello Blake, General Manager of BIG, expressed his hopes that the assistance of the B&B Group will facilitate the Home’s very important work of caring for some of Belize’s most vulnerable persons.

“The generous and much-needed donation will help to defray the growing financial cost of providing a safe and nurturing environment for our children,” a statement from the Children’s home said.

Liberty offers a safe and loving environment for 31 residents that goes beyond providing food and shelter.

Liberty provides a supportive and stable place where children feel respected and confident that they will be cared for.

Liberty has a reputation for helping children regain their self-esteem so that they can develop trust in adults and form healthy relationships that enables them to lead fulfilling and happy lives.
