Caye Caulker woman reported missing

By BBN Staff: The family of Maria Ellena Chun, 46, is asking the public’s assistance in finding her.

Chun, a resident of Caye Caulker, was last seen on Monday, January 27 but has not been heard from since. Her family told our newsroom that they are extremely worried because this has never happened before.

They made a formal report to police on Saturday.

Chun is around five feet tall with short, brown hair and was last seen wearing a white blouse and a blue 3/4 jeans pants.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Merly Verde at 635-9393, or the nearest police station.
