Cool weather continues

The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that cool and mostly dry weather conditions will prevail over the area.

The 24-hour forecast calls for conditions to be variably cloudy and cool today with little or no rainfall and cloudy at times tonight with the chance of light showers or rain mostly over the southern coastal areas.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 82 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 74 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 62 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East to Northeast at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy to moderate.

There will be low tide at 8:58 a.m. and high tide at 2:56 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:48 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 12:45 p.m.
