Police investigate attempted robbery at Reimers Feed Mill in Belmopan

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred on Sunday at Reimers Feed Mill in Belmopan.

The security guard told police that around 2:00 a.m. he was alerted by his dog to an area inside of the compound.

When he checked, he saw three masked men inside the compound.

The security guard drew his weapon and ordered the men to freeze but the culprits ran and the guard set chase after them.

The security guard then fired several shots at them but they fired back.

The culprits managed to escape.

Police made checks at nearby hospitals but no-one with any gunshot injuries had checked in.

An investigation is on-going.
