By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Finance announced that effective midnight, the pump price of two fuel products will change.
The prices for regular gasoline and kerosene will register decreases as follows:
Regular gasoline will decrease by 55 cents from $ 10.28 to $ 9.73 per gallon;
Kerosene will decrease by 41 cents from $7.77 to $7.36 per gallon.
The prices for premium gasoline and diesel will remain unchanged at $10.99 and $10.29 per gallon, respectively.
The Ministry says that these price changes reflect current demand and supply conditions of crude oil in the international petroleum market and fluctuations in the acquisition price of refined fuel products in the countries from which Belize obtains its supplies.
The Government of Belize says that it is monitoring the price movements and supply conditions closely and will work with the fuel industry to safeguard the pump prices paid by Belizean consumers.
