Belize mourns loss of businessman Richard Harrison

By BBN Staff: The Belikin La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge issued a statement extending condolences to the Harrison family on the passing of Richard Harrison.

Richard along with his brother Orlando founded and organized the La Ruta Maya Belize River Challenge for many years.

Richard was also a writer and activist and up until the time of his passing was advocating for cleaner water through the Clean Water Alliance Project.

The PUP Cayo North standard bearer, Michel Chebat issued a statement extending sympathies to Harrison’s family and friends.

Many of Richard’s friends, family and readers have took to social media to share special memories shared with Harrison.

May he rest in peace.
