Belize Training and Employment Centre graduates new cohort from job preparedness training

By BBN Staff: The Belize Training and Employment Centre (BTEC), a unit of the Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE), held a graduation ceremony today for the first cohort of 2020 to complete job preparedness training.

Some, 45 participants gathered at the BTEC office on Freetown Road today, to receive their certificates and mark the culmination of
three-weeks worth of work doing Administrative Assistant Training.

“The program covered both the soft and technical skills necessary to prepare participants for work as effective administrative professionals. Some of the topics covered included time management, conflict management, organizational skills, professional etiquette and much more,” BTEC said.

The center added that it hopes the program will contribute greatly to the future accomplishments of the participants.
