Laguna Seca ferry in Corozal floats out with 3 vehicles after cable breaks off

By BBN Staff: Occupants of 3 vehicles experienced a frightening experience yesterday when the cable on the Laguna Seca ferry in Corozal reportedly broke and the ferry floated away with 3 vehicles on board.

Sherlene Neal posted the pictures and information on Facebook saying that her vehicle was to go on the next trip when it happened.

The residents who frequent the ferry are asking the authorities to fix the cables.

Information is that the Ministry of Works vehicle was seen heading in that direction shortly after the incident.

No information has been forthcoming from the authorities on this incident.
