Southwest airlines offer special rates to Belize in Valentine’s Day promotion

By BBN Staff: Southwest Airlines has offered special rates on three flights to Belize during a limited Valentine’s Day promotion.

Southwest released a list of special flights today, to several destinations in the region including Mexico, the Bahamas, and Cuba. The list also shows flights from Birmingham to Belize City going for US $167, Raleigh to Belize City going for US $167, and Baltimore to Belize City for US $187. The sale comes only a day after the Latin Post, an online media outlet in the United States, listed Belize as one of its top 10 places for couples to travel this Valentine’s Day.

The sale opens up more possibilities for Belize’s tourism sector, which traditionally sees an influx of tourists on romantic vacations during Valentine’s Day.
