By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is reporting that mainly fair, warm, and mostly dry weather conditions will prevail today, with a slight increase in moisture expected tomorrow.
The 24-hour forecast calls for generally fair weather with little to no rainfall today, then isolated showers developing mainly along the coast tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast at between10-20 knots and the sea state will be rough. A small craft caution is in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas.
There will be a low tide at 7:14 a.m. and a high tide at 1:10 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:53 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 10:36 p.m.
