PUP announces date for ‘Save Belize’ demonstration

By BBN Staff:  Belize Times, the People’s United Party propaganda organ has just announced the date for the party’s ‘Save Belize’ anti-corruption demonstration.

The date has been set for Sunday, February 23 starting at 11:30 on Fabers Road in Belize City.

Party leader John Briceño announced the demonstration during a press conference this week and made a call on all concerned Belizeans tired of corruption to participate. Today the Belize National Teachers Union agreed that the time for action is now but said it would not join a political event such as the PUP’s upcoming demonstration.
