Sunny skies with a few showers expected today

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is reporting that a “light to gentle” Southeasterly airfolw will dominate the weather, keeping it mostly sunny.

The 24-hour forecast calls for skies to be mostly sunny today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers, if any will be isolated, occurring mostly over the south.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 77 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 77 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

There will be low tide at 10:32 a.m. and high tide at 5:03 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:55 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 2:27 a.m.
