Juan Guaido rallies support to be recognized as Venezuelan president

By Aaron Humes: The recently re-elected president of the National Assembly of Venezuela, Juan Guaido, has not given up on his fight.

As established by a video from the U.S. Embassy in Belize, Guaido has visited multiple countries and has been recognized as Venezuela’s President by the U.S., United Kingdom, and the European Union.

Guaido, it says, has been hailed by international refugees who want to come home and rebuild the country.

But incumbent President, Nicolas Maduro, continues in charge and has kept an iron grip on the military and institutions of the state.
