Police: Robert Nunez last seen drinking in Champon before his death

By BBN Staff: Just before 11 o’clock on Wednesday night police found a body in Benque Viejo Town.

The decomposing body was later identified as Robert Nunez, who had been reported missing by his family.

His body was found 150 yards from the highway by a passerby.

Police say that Nunez was last seen drinking with two Hispanic men in the Champon area of the border.

At this time, information remains limited, and so police are unable to say exactly where he was killed.

However, police did confirm that he crossed the border illegally.
