By Aaron Humes: Boosted by an impressive appearance from the teachers union, the National Trade Union Congress of Belize (NTUCB) brought heavy numbers to downtown Belize City in the start of a movement for change.
NTUCB President Marvin Mora said this fight is for all who are tired of status quo from the political parties.
They must be reminded, he said, that the workers, and voters, are THEIR bosses.
Presently other union bosses are delivering their addresses. Southern Workers’ Union (SWU) President Glen Lewis has announced a march on February 29 to the Commerce Bight Port in Dangriga to address discrimination.
