John Saldivar: ‘I spoke to UDP delegates directly’

By BBN Staff: Former UDP Leader-elect, John Saldivar, appeared this morning on Wave TV and Radio to speak more about his maintained innocence of wrongdoing.

Saldivar told talk show hosts that he did not engage the media while he campaigned to become the next UDP leader because he was directly in touch with the UDP delegates.

Saldivar further said that he shared his story personally with the delegates.

“My delegates were right there with me on Whatsapp, right there with me on chat groups. I was able to give them information. I was able to answer any of the concerns they have. I was able to tell them what was true and what was not true with respect to what was in the media and I was comfortable with that. I didn’t have to go to the media,” Saldivar said.

Saldivar said that his strategy worked because he and Team Saldivar won the convention.
