John Saldivar: “My career is about helping my country,” plans to run in next election

By BBN Staff: When asked about his prospects for the next general election this morning on Wave Radio and TV, former UDP Leader-elect, John Saldivar said that he is in it (his career).

“My career is about helping people, my career is about helping my community, my career is about helping my country,” Saldivar said.

Saldivar said he isn’t going anywhere.

“The people of Belmopan know my reputation. They know what I stand for, they know what I have done, they know what I have accomplished and my reputation defends me,” Saldivar stated.

Saldivar says that the people who know him will be able to see through whatever ‘slander campaign’ has been levied against him.
