The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that fair and warm weather will prevail today, before an increase in moisture and rainfall with an approaching cold front tonight.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today, becoming cloudy tonight. Warm weather with little or no rainfall is expected to persist today, then a few showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected over northern and inland areas at first this evening, spreading over southern and offshore areas tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 88 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 62 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing east-southeast at 5-15 knots becoming north-northwest at 15-25 knots and the sea state will be moderate.
A low tide began at 6:03 a.m. and there will be high tide at 11:44 a.m.
The sun will set at 5:58 p.m. and the moon will rise at 8:13 a.m.
