The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a high-pressure influence will maintain cool conditions in the wake of a cold front.

The 24-hour forecast calls for variably cloudy skies with cool conditions and little or no rainfall today; then periods of light rain mostly over the sea and along southern coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 75 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 68 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 62 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 56 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing North-Northwest between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate-rough. A small craft caution is in effect for strong, gusty winds and rough seas.

A low tide began at 6:56 a.m. and high tide will come in at 12:42 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:58 p.m. and the moon will rise at 9:23 a.m.
