Man slapped with five charges including murder and attempted murder

By BBN Staff: Dion White, 22, was charged with murder, attempted murder, dangerous harm, use of deadly means of harm and aggravated assault. Yesterday he was remanded to prison until April 30.

His charges come after a Monday night shooting on Rio Bravo Crescent which left Walter Ezeikel Usher, 33, dead and Joyce Edwards, 61, badly injured.

Usher was at a residence socializing when two men on a motorcycle approached and opened fire killing him on the spot. Edwards was in a vehicle simply passing by when she was shot. Her passenger, Gregory Williams, 19, escaped unharmed.

The second shooter remains at large.
