Man slapped with five charges including murder and attempted murder

By BBN Staff: Sydney Bucknor Jr., 26, has been found guilty of the murder of his uncle, Michael Bucknor, 61.
Michael Bucknor was walking on Faber’s Road in Belize City back in June of 2013 when he was shot in the back of the head.
Two days later, the accused confessed to the crime.
During trial the accused claimed that the police had beaten him into confessing to a crime he never committed.
Despite his claims, Justice Marilyn Williams found him guilty.
He will be sentenced in the weeks ahead.
