By BBN Staff: The United States Embassy in Belize issued a statement extending their heartfelt condolences to the victims and families of the pilots and crew members of the Belize Defence Force U1H1 helicopter who were killed in yesterday’s crash in Gales Point, Belize.
The aircraft had left BDF Airwing early Thursday morning as part of a coordinated response to the drug plane that was captured yesterday.
Both pilots and both crew members are unaccounted for.
“We are deeply saddened by the untimely deaths of these heroic individuals and stand in solidarity with the Belize Defence Force and the people of Belize during this tragic time,” the embassy expressed
