Child Stimulation month kicks off with beautiful parades

By BBN Staff: The month of March is child stimulation month and around the country, educators and education stakeholders enjoyed beautiful pre-school parades.

In Belize City, Mayor Bernard Wagner and the Belize City Council participated in the annual ceremony and parade highlighting the importance of early childhood education.

The events are being held under the theme, “Hug Me, Listen to Me, Read with Me, Help Me Grow.”

“We were happy to be a part of such a special occasion with some of the children, parents, and educators of Belize City,” a statement from the council said.

Parents and children paraded in their own favorite character, community workers, fruits, crayons and vegetables suits.
