Warm weather ahead

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that mainly fair, warm, and dry weather conditions will prevail for the next couple of days.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today with partly cloudy-clear skies tonight. Little to no rainfall is expected.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate-rough. There is a small craft caution in effect for gusty winds and occassionally rough seas.

A low tide will set in at at 9:29 a.m. and high tide will come in at 3:46 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:59 p.m. and the moon will rise at 12:11 p.m.
