Posted: Friday, March 6, 2020. 9:40 am CST.

By Aaron Humes: Today Belize Defence Force Major Radford Baizar, the last of those killed in a helicopter crash last week, will be laid to rest following funeral services.

A memorial non social media reads, “Thank you for your distinct and honorable service to our Nation! There is no greater sacrifice a person can make than to give their life for their country! Deepest sympathies to the BAIZAR FAMILY!!! REST IN PEACE BROTHER!!!”

Major Baizar and his fellows – Major Adrian Ramirez and Corporals Reinaldo Choco and Yassir Mendez – were honored with funeral services and in the House of Representatives all this week.

They were providing air support to their colleagues involved in a drug bust when the helicopter went down in the Gales Point Lagoon off the Coastal Road on February 27. Intensive investigations continue.
