Windy day ahead

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a moderate to gusty northeasterly airflow will prevail today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy to cloudy at times tonight. Only isolated showers are expected today, with a few more occurring over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 86 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 76 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 66 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 62 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Northeast between 10-20 knots and the sea state will be moderate-rough. A small craft caution is in effect for occasionally gusty winds and rough seas.

High tide will come in at 10:04 a.m. and low tide will occur at 3:54 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:04 p.m. and the moon will rise at 6:17 p.m.
