“Mostly dry weather ahead,” says Met Service

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that fair and mostly dry weather will prevail for the next couple of days.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Fair weather will prevail with only isolated showers developing today and isolated showers occurring mostly over southern coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 64 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East between 5‐15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

Low tide began at 6:35 a.m. and high tide will come in at 12:29 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:02 p.m. and the moon will set at 10:23 p.m.
