Magnitude 5.1 earthquake rocks Mexico

By BBN Staff: Almost an hour ago a magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck our neighbors in Mexico.

All indications are that it occurred 26 km away from Chiapas.

Chiapas is one of Mexico’s southern states close to its border with Guatemala.

The extent of damages arising is at this time unclear. It is also unclear if there were any fatalities.
