Amidst coronavirus threat, a teenager is murdered tonight in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Despite the looming coronavirus threat facing Belize, another man was murdered tonight in the old capital. The victim is Collet Morter, a 19 year old man who resided on Riverside Street in Belize City.

Just around 9:00 p.m. tonight Morter was hanging out watching television with other friends on Gladden Street when he was called out. He came out to see who was calling him and that is when he was shot.

Police visited the scene of the incident and transported the body to the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital where the teenager was pronounced dead.
