Belize still COVID-19 free; ordering additional  testing kits and supplies

By Aaron Humes: You might not be able to tell from the tightening of the screws announced by the major parties today, but according to Prime Minister Dean Barrow, Belize as of this moment is still COVID-19 free, one of the few countries still so.

But Belize is preparing, with buying test kits from a German company, Roche, and through the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).

Ambassador Assad Shoman is pitching in to get support from Cuba.

Barrow concedes that we must not be pulled into a false sense of security, and that so far we have avoided a confirmation even though there are not enough kits, a matter soon to be rectified.
