Michigan man makes public plea for coronavirus test, claims recent travel to Belize

By BBN Staff: Michigan Health Watch this morning reported that a Michigan man who suspects he has covid-19 recently traveled to Belize.

Donn Hinds is making a public plea for health officials in his state to test him for coronavirus. Hinds told the news site that he has been experiencing symptoms of the virus.

“I’m short on breath, even now,” he told Bridge Magazine in a phone interview from his home.

Hinds said that he had also recently traveled to Belize where he met and dined with other travelers from Italy, the country with the second most deaths due to the virus.

Since the tests remain limited, health experts decide who should receive the testing for the virus, the report said.

Belize currently has no confirmed case of covid-19.
