By BBN Staff: In response to the imminent threat of the COVID-19 outbreak in Belize, Galen University’s Central Farm Campus will be closed from Monday, March 23 through April 20, 2020. All centers around the country will also close.

Galen University assures its students and all other stakeholders that while the main campus and satellite centers will be closed, the work of the University will continue as normal as is possible under the circumstances.

Classes will continue online, with exams occurring at their scheduled time (April 14-18).

The administration, faculty and staff will work virtually, and will be available electronically to students, all employees, partners and other stakeholders, including applicants and admitted students for the 2020-2021 academic year.

“These measures are necessary to protect the health and well-being of our entire Galen community, and in support of the nation-wide campaign to prevent a COVID-19 outbreak in Belize,” a statement from Galen said.

Persons wishing to contact the University by phone can do so by calling 615-6657 or 614-6415. Specific contact information for various university officers can also be found on the website  (http://www.galen.edu.bz/).
