By BBN Staff: The Government of Belize’s informational video segment, ‘Ask the Experts’ this morning fielded various questions from viewers.

Health officials urged Belizeans to avoid all non-essential travels so as to avoid any spread of Covid-19.

Director of Health Services, Dr. Marvin Manzanero began by telling all Belizeans that the spread of this deadly virus is a ‘serious matter.’

He also encouraged businesses to scale down and allow access to essential services and products so as to practice social distancing.

Health officials also reiterated that Immigration officials will be scaled down but remain open even if it’s a minimal staff since it is an essential service.

They also reminded that illegal crossings must be reported to the police.
