By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Natural Resources issued a release this evening informing the general public that its offices will reopen for business on Monday, March 23, however, it will be implementing social distancing measures as recommended by the National COVID-19 Oversight Committee.
The Ministry noted that services from a number of departments will be available online. Those departments include the Land Registry Department, National Hydrological Service, and Mining Unit.
“Additionally, commencing Tuesday, March 24, 2020, the National Estate Section will be offering online services,” the Ministry said. “The public can also now utilize the direct deposit payment method. For payment instructions, visit the Ministry’s website at https://naturalresources.gov.bz/.”
The ministry also noted that the phone number 828-5028 can be utilized for inquiries and that updates will be posted on its official Facebook page.
