Banks offer plans on loans

By Aaron Humes:  Central Bank of Belize Governor Joy Grant says the major banks and financial institutions are offering a variety of plans for existing loans.

One bank has offered a three-month moratorium on principal and interest payments.

Others are asking clients to come in and discuss a schedule of repayments.

As for new loans, Governor Grant told us the banks may consider delayed payments but there are few cases of these.
